Whether you’re a first-timer or returning to triathlon later in life, our 44-Week Half Distance Triathlon Training Plan for Senior Athletes 60+ is built to prepare you—mind, body, and spirit—for success on race day at the Half Distance Triathlon North Carolina.

This race is fast, flat, and full of unique challenges: a current-assisted 1.2-mile saltwater swim, a scenic 56-mile bike ride across the Cape Fear River, and a vibrant 13.1-mile run through downtown Wilmington. Our plan is designed specifically to help you show up prepared and confident for each leg.
