This Half Distance Triathlon Training Plan is specifically designed to prepare you for the unique demands of the Waco, Texas Half Distance Triathlon, especially if you're a competitive Masters athlete over 40 who have maintained their fitness and can finish an Olympic distance event.

The Waco course offers calm waters, open roads, and scenic riverside trails—this plan ensures you’re ready for every stroke, pedal, and stride.

✅ Tailored for Masters Athletes (40+) – The training load, recovery weeks, and strength work are optimized for endurance, resilience, and age-specific needs.
