The 44-week Beginner Half Distance Triathlon Training Plan is built specifically for athletes like you: driven, determined, and ready to embrace a new challenge in beautiful Encarnación, Paraguay.

This isn’t just any race.
🏊 Swim 1.9 km in the calm waters of San José Beach, starting from Bolik Pier.
🚴 Bike 90 km over two scenic loops along the Costanera road—rolling hills and 3,000+ ft of elevation test your grit and stamina.
🏃 Run 21.1 km along the vibrant waterfront, through the heart of the city, and into the finish at the iconic Sambódromo.

How does this Half Distance Triathlon training plan prepare you for success?

We begin with 12 weeks of guided base training—no need to show up already in race shape. You’ll build the endurance, strength, and confidence needed to progress safely and steadily. You’ll start with just 9.5 hours in Week 13 and grow to 14 hours by Week 39—one step at a time.
