The plan includes progressive swim workouts to develop endurance and refine technique—critical for the 1.9 km single-loop swim in the calm waters of San José Beach. Open water sessions and drills build your confidence and efficiency, while Garmin-compatible swim workouts deliver instructions right to your wrist—no need to bring paper to the pool.
🚴 Crush the Rolling Hills on Costanera Road
With over 3,000 ft of elevation on the 90 km bike course, this isn't your average ride. That’s why our plan features power-based cycling workouts, Anaerobic Threshold intervals, and VO2 Max sessions that mimic race-day demands. Long rides build stamina while strength training boosts climbing power, preparing you for the scenic but challenging terrain.
🏃 Run with Purpose to the Sambódromo
The two-loop 21.1 km run finishes along Encarnación’s picturesque waterfront. Our structured brick workouts and aerobic endurance sessions help you nail that swim-bike-run transition and hold strong through the final stretch.
