At this stage in your athletic journey, you’re not chasing finish lines—you’re chasing mastery. This 24-week Half Distance Triathlon Training Plan is built specifically for performance-minded Masters triathletes over 40, who want to train with intention and race with confidence on the fast yet demanding course in Augusta, Georgia.

🏊 Swim: Glide down the Savannah River’s steady current—our swim workouts develop open-water confidence, pacing control, and sighting skill, so you’re not just surviving the 1.2-mile swim—you’re capitalizing on it.

🚴 Bike: With nearly 2,000 feet of climbing, Augusta’s rolling 56-mile bike course requires more than fitness—it requires strategy. This plan includes hill-specific intervals and race-effort endurance rides to help you stay strong over every rise and unleash power on the flats.

🏃 Run: The 13.1-mile run features mild hills and over 9 miles of shaded Greeneway trail. You’ll build the muscular resilience and pacing awareness to finish strong, even in the final miles along the Savannah River.
