If you have a solid base of aerobic fitness, and you're gearing up for the stunning Sunshine Coast course, with its calm ocean swim, fast motorway bike leg, and scenic coastal run, this 24-week plan will prepare you to train efficiently, race confidently, and finish strong.

Prepare for the 21.1km run over Alexandra Headland Hill and along the coastal boardwalk with progressive long runs, hill sessions, and run-off-the-bike workouts that simulate race-day fatigue and build resilience.

Integrated resistance training supports joint stability, muscle mass, and bone density—all critical for athletes over 60 who want to stay strong through training and race day.
