The Half Distance Michigan Triathlon is a uniquely scenic and athlete-friendly race—featuring a calm swim in Betsie Bay, a rolling bike ride along the iconic M-22, and a flat, energetic run through the picturesque towns of Frankfort and Elberta. To perform your best, especially if you’re a senior triathlete aged 60 or over, your training needs to be structured, age-aware, and tailored for both endurance and recovery.
