Whether you're new to triathlon or returning after time away, our 36-week Half Distance Triathlon training plan is designed to help you conquer the unique challenges of the Poznań, Poland Half Distance Triathlon with confidence and strength.

From the smooth rolling swim start in Lake Malta to the fast, flat bike course through scenic villages and the energetic run into the heart of Poznań, this course is built for speed and spirit—and so is your training.

🏊‍♂️ Prepare for the 1.9km Lake Swim
In the first 12 weeks, you’ll build a strong aerobic base while mastering swim form through guided video drills, focusing on technique, breathing, and open-water comfort. With average lake temps around 65°F (18°C), you’ll train to stay efficient and relaxed—even in cooler waters.

🚴 Dominate the 90km Bike Course
Poznań’s bike leg is flat and fast—ideal for showcasing your cycling growth. Our plan integrates targeted endurance rides, interval sessions, and progressive long rides, all guided by Rate of Perceived Exertion (RPE) or Heart Rate, so you can pace like a pro while enjoying the picturesque countryside.

🏃 Crush the 21.1km Urban Run
From smooth brick workouts to tempo runs, our plan prepares you to run strong through the city’s historic streets and finish with power at the Poznań International Fair. The course energy is electric, and your training will help you channel it all the way to the finish line.
