Half Distance Triathlon in Knokke-Heist, Belgium - This isn’t just any race—and you’re not just any athlete. With a calm canal swim in historic Sluis, a smooth and scenic 90 km bike through Dutch and Belgian countryside, and a flat beachfront run along the iconic Zeedijk, this course is made for smart, steady, and experienced triathletes like you.

That’s why this 24-week Half Distance Triathlon Training Plan is expertly crafted for senior athletes aged 60 and up—those who want to race strong, stay healthy, and enjoy every mile.

🏊‍♂️ Swim Strong in Sluis
The race begins in the Damsche Vaart—a wave-free, tide-free canal ideal for building rhythm and confidence. Our plan incorporates low-impact aerobic sessions and targeted swim drills to improve stroke efficiency and reduce fatigue before the bike.

🚴 Power Through the Flat and Fast Bike Course
Designed to mimic the one-lap ride through West Flanders and South Holland, our bike sessions balance steady-state efforts with just the right amount of high-intensity work to sharpen your legs and your pacing. You’ll be ready to push smart across every kilometer.

🏃‍♂️ Run the Zeedijk Like a Pro
