With a rolling bike course, open-ocean swim, and stunning coastal run, this race demands strategic preparation—and that’s exactly what this plan delivers.

🏊‍♂️ Swim Preparedness
Train for the 1.2-mile clockwise swim around the Santa Cruz Wharf with structured sessions that improve stroke efficiency, sighting skills, and open-water endurance. You'll be ready for the chill of 63°F (17°C) water and the currents of the Pacific.

🚴‍♀️ Bike-Specific Strength & Stamina
With over 2,500 feet of elevation along Highway 1, this 56-mile ride is both scenic and demanding. The plan includes heart rate and power-based workouts that simulate the rolling terrain and long climbs, helping you build strength and pacing discipline for a strong return to Depot Park.
