This iconic event begins with a refreshing 1.9 km swim through the cool waters of Sportpark Duisburg, continues on a fast, flat 90.1 km bike ride through the city—including a ride over the historic Brücke der Solidarität—and finishes with a scenic 21.1 km run through lush park landscapes, culminating in a spectacular finish inside the Duisburg football stadium.
Our 24-week Half Distance Triathlon Training Plan is designed specifically for experienced triathletes aged 60 and over, helping you prepare physically and mentally for every challenge Duisburg presents.
