This 44-week Half Distance Triathlon training plan is specifically designed for athletes over 40 preparing to take on the unique demands of the Swansea course. Whether you're new to endurance sports or returning after a break, the plan builds strength, confidence, and race readiness—step by step.

• Weekly training starts at 4 hours, increasing to 10.5
• Focus on swim technique, aerobic fitness, and general strength
