Are you a dedicated Senior Triathlete aged 60 or older, ready to take on the warm waters, undulating bike terrain, and shaded run of the Half Distance Triathlon Desaru Coast Malaysia? This 36-week training plan is built specifically for you—designed to help you build endurance, improve race-day execution, and stay injury-free as you prepare to conquer this tropical challenge.

Tailored for Desaru Coast’s Unique Demands

🏊 Swim Smart: Prepare for the calm, non-wetsuit 1.9km ocean swim at The Westin Desaru Coast Resort. This plan integrates open-water technique drills and sustained aerobic sets so you’re ready to move efficiently through 28–29°C (82°F) water.

🚴 Climb Strong: The 90km bike course features rolling terrain. You'll build leg strength and pacing control through structured power-based intervals, brick sessions, and progressive endurance rides.

🏃 Run Resilient: With warm weather and two loops along shaded roads and landmarks like The Els Club and Anantara, your 21.1km run training will focus on hydration, heat acclimation, and negative splits—so you finish strong.
