Plan Description
This 20 week Beginner plan helps first time Ironman 70.3 athletes navigate the minimum dose for executing and completing an Ironman 70.3.
It has a balanced approach, working through phases and specificity closer to the event and also includes very important supporting sessions like S&C and mobility. Plus, using new science and research we have implemented some heat protocol training within this plan, to help with warmer races. Still, additionally, we now know the huge training adaptation benefits we get from doing heat training.
You will need a HRM, GPS watch & Power for the bike.
Communication - we feel this should be included in a training plan as there are so many things to cover in training, fuel sources, hydration & injury prevention.
You will receive 1x 30min call via Zoom/Google or WhatsAPP at the start of your plan free, where we can establish your training zones and get onboard with Training Peaks.
Additionally, at your time choice, we can schedule another FREE call of 30min later in the process, with then options to book further calls if this is something you are gaining value from. The additional calls are at our consulting rates.
