Set against the vibrant backdrop of Brazil’s capital, this iconic race features a 1.9 km swim in the serene waters of Lake Paranoá, a fast 90 km bike ride across the city’s expansive avenues, and a scenic 21.1 km run through lush, tree-lined parks. With warm air temperatures reaching 82°F (28°C) and water temps around 76°F (24°C), proper preparation is essential to achieve your personal best.

About the 44-Week Intermediate Training Plan

🎯 Start Strong, Finish Unstoppable:
No prior base training is necessary. Whether you're starting from scratch or building on existing fitness, the first 12 weeks focus on establishing a rock-solid aerobic foundation. This essential phase ensures you develop the endurance needed for race day success.

🚀 Elevate Your Performance:
After the initial base period, you'll move into a 32-week race-specific phase, specifically crafted for the Half Distance Triathlon Brasília. Your training time will gradually build from a manageable 9 hours in the first week to a 14-hour peak, giving your body time to adapt while avoiding burnout.
