Our 36-Week Half Distance Triathlon Training Plan is expertly aligned with the unique demands of Western Australia’s iconic course — from the protected foreshore swim to the wind-friendly bike leg and flat, scenic run along Geographe Bay.

✅ Swim-Ready from Day One: The plan emphasizes swim endurance and open water confidence early on — perfect for Busselton’s 1.9KM protected course with cooler 66°F (19°C) temps. Drill-focused workouts and video tutorials sharpen your technique while building comfort in choppier, race-like conditions.

✅ Crush the Flat Coastal Ride: The 90KM fast, single-loop bike course requires sustained power and smart pacing. This plan includes structured Heart Rate and Power-based intervals, tempo rides, and bricks that simulate the long stretches of uninterrupted riding you’ll face through the Tuart Forest and along the coast.

✅ Run Strong, Finish Proud: The two-lap 21.1KM run along the Busselton Jetty is flat but mentally demanding. You'll be ready with anaerobic threshold runs, track sessions, and late-stage bricks designed to dial in pacing and sharpen your mental edge for race day.

✅ Built-in Strength & Injury Prevention: A dedicated strength training program runs parallel to your triathlon training — crucial for injury resistance, power output, and form under fatigue. Ideal for athletes 40+ managing longevity and durability.
