Plan Description

Half Distance Triathlon Tangier, Morocco – Race Overview

Race through Tangier, Morocco, where the Mediterranean meets the Atlantic in a stunning half-distance triathlon. This epic course features breathtaking coastal views, historic landmarks, and an electrifying atmosphere.

Swim (1.9km) – A single-loop swim in the calm waters of Tangier Bay (66°F/19°C) kicks off the race.

Bike (90km) – Ride a scenic, hilly route past Cap Spartel Lighthouse and Hercules Caves, with three aid stations for support.

Run (21.1km) – A fast, flat 3-loop course along Tangier’s waterfront promenade, with cheering crowds and refreshment points.

Race Day Conditions: Warm temperatures, 89°F (32°C) high / 59°F (15°C) low.
