If this is your first time tackling a Half Distance Triathlon, our 36-week Half Distance Triathlon training plan is crafted just for you. It’s designed to build your confidence, fitness, and race-day readiness—step by step—so you can take on the Florida course with assurance and strength.
🏊♂️ The calm, freshwater swim in Lake Eva is the perfect place to start your journey. Our 12-week foundational phase focuses on swim technique and endurance, using video drills to help you glide efficiently through the water, no matter your experience level.
🚴♀️ The bike course rolls gently through Polk County’s mostly flat terrain with some hills, and our plan prepares you to maintain steady power while managing Florida’s heat and humidity. Gradual increases in ride volume and tempo sessions get your legs ready for race day.
🏃 The 13.1-mile fast, flat run demands smart pacing and good hydration. You’ll train with brick workouts that simulate race fatigue, helping your body stay strong through the entire run.
🏁 Test Your Fitness with “B” and “C” Races
