The La Quinta course is made for you—featuring a calm 1.9km swim in Lake Cahuilla, a flat 56-mile bike through Thermal Raceway, and a scenic 13.1-mile run at Silver Rock Golf Resort. Our 44-week Beginner Half Distance Triathlon Training Plan is designed to help you prepare with confidence—step by step, without the stress or burnout.

🏊‍♂️ Build Comfort in the Water
Lake Cahuilla’s clear, cool water offers an ideal swim for beginners. Our plan begins with a 12-week base phase focused on endurance and technique—featuring 🎥 instructional swim drills to help you feel relaxed, efficient, and confident from the beach start.

🚴 Ride Strong and Steady
The bike course is smooth, fast, and beginner-friendly. You’ll train with 💡 Heart Rate and RPE-based rides that teach pacing and endurance, while VO₂ intervals improve speed and power without overwhelming you.

🏃 Run to the Finish with Confidence
The flat two-loop run is perfect for holding a steady rhythm. Our structured sessions gradually build your stamina and help you stay strong through every mile—with smart progressions and brick workouts to simulate race day.
