Preparing for the Half Distance Triathlon in Bahrain means mastering a flat, fast course with warm waters, smooth roads, and spectator-lined streets. Our 36-week advanced training plan is designed with these exact race-day conditions in mind—equipping you with the strength, endurance, and pacing skills you need to perform at your best on this Middle Eastern course.

🌊 Swim – 1.9 km, One-Loop “L” Course
Train with purpose in the early phase, where technical swim sessions are prioritized to improve your efficiency in Bahrain’s warm 73°F (23°C) waters. You’ll practice open-water simulation drills, sighting, and controlled pacing to confidently navigate the one-loop layout in front of Reef Island.

🚴‍♂️ Bike – 90 km, Fast Single Lap Past Iconic Landmarks
The Bahrain bike course is built for speed—but only if you’re conditioned for sustained power and headwind potential. Our plan builds cycling stamina with:
✅ Aerobic Mile Training for base-building endurance
✅ Climbing Acceleration Intervals to prepare for position changes
✅ Anaerobic Power Sprints to build race-day power output
