The Half Distance Triathlon Valdivia is as scenic as it is challenging. A 1.9 km point-to-point swim in the cool, clear Calle-Calle River. A 90 km bike ride through lush countryside, blending flat, fast sections with a few short steep climbs. And a 21.1 km run across Valdivia’s iconic bridges, finishing beside the river in the heart of the city.
The Beginner's Six-Month Half Distance Triathlon Plan is specifically crafted to prepare you for every unique aspect of this course — with zero fluff and all focus on performance, endurance, and confidence provided that you posses a solid base of aerobic fitness.
✅ Swim-Ready: With swim-focused sessions that include open water technique, sighting drills, and cold-water adaptation, you'll be confident navigating the chilly (14°C) Calle-Calle River in your wetsuit.
