New to triathlon and aiming for your first Half Distance Triathlon? This beginner-friendly six-month training plan is built to guide you every step of the way toward the finish line in stunning Mossel Bay, South Africa.
From the sea swim at Santos Beach to the hilly ride toward Herbertsdale and the scenic coastal run, this plan prepares you physically and mentally for race day.

Designed specifically for beginner athletes, this plan breaks the Half Distance Triathlon down into manageable, confidence-building steps. You’ll never feel overwhelmed.
