Half Distance Triathlon Goa, India – Summary

Goa, a coastal state in western India, is known for its stunning beaches, Indo-Portuguese heritage, and rich biodiversity, including Olive Ridley turtle nesting sites. Its world-class sports infrastructure has made it a key destination for international sports tourism.

Swim (1.9 km): A single-lap triangular course in the calm waters of Miramar Beach, with an average water temperature of 78°F (26°C).

Bike (90 km): A fast, scenic two-lap course featuring the newly inaugurated Zuari Bridge, with fewer climbs and more straights for an exhilarating ride.

Run (21.1 km): A three-loop course from Miramar Beach to the Governor’s Palace, voted among the Top 3 in Asia, lined with cheering crowds and dedicated volunteers.
Race Day Weather: High of 87°F (30°C).
