Plan Description
This 12 week training plan consists of Training Peaks structured workouts and is to be used in conjunction with a compatible GPS multisport device or devices. The plan is written so that each session is easy to understand and can be uploaded to your device so your device acts as your coach for each session, guiding you through every step.
Structured workouts can be exported for use in third-party apps and select devices including Garmin, Zwift, TrainerRoad, CycleOps, RacerMate, and some more.
Who is this Plan for?
This plan is aimed at an athlete who has already completed at least an Olympic distance triathlon or another sport previously and so has a fitness base already in place. The bike sessions are built around the use of a Power Meter and so really this is needed to gain the maximum benefits from following the plan.
What the plan consist of:
*12-week progressive plan
* There are 2 swims, 2 cycles and 3 runs on average per week and as the program progress there are extra optional sessions that you can do or skip.
* Twice a week Strength training
* Structured workouts that can upload to a Garmin or similar platforms
* Every 4th week is a recovery week & optional Test week
* One day off a week
* Detailed description of each session
