With its protected swim in Plava Laguna, a rolling 90km bike through scenic vineyards and olive groves, and a coastal run through the heart of Poreč, this race is both breathtaking and fast. To succeed, you need a training plan that prepares you for the terrain, temperature, and tempo of race day.

Our Intermediate Half Distance Triathlon Training Plan is specifically designed to help athletes like you arrive confident, fit, and race-ready for Poreč provided you've establish a strong foundation of base mileage that effortlessly propels you through an Olympic distance triathlon

✅ Open Water Readiness – You'll be fully prepared for the 1,900m point-to-point swim with focused sessions on sighting, stroke efficiency, and pacing in cooler water (around 64°F / 18°C).

✅ Powerful Bike Endurance – Both V02, Anaerobic interval sessions and tempo rides will prepare you for the fast but undulating Croatian bike course. No major climbs means you’ll have the legs to push for a personal best.
