The Half Distance Triathlon Washington Tri-Cities is a race that rewards preparation, precision, and grit. With a current-assisted 1.2-mile downstream swim in the Columbia River, a rolling 56-mile ride through Washington’s scenic wine country, and a flat, fast 13.1-mile run along the river, it’s the kind of race where your training plan can make or break your performance.

Our 44-Week Intermediate Half Distance Triathlon Training Plan is engineered to prepare you for this exact race experience—from your first base mile to the final stretch along the Columbia.
