This 70.3 half-Ironman Silver program is focused on a structured training and strategy to help athletes successfully complete the 1.2-mile swim, 56-mile bike, and 13.1-mile run at their peak performance. Here’s what to expect: Periodized Training Phases: Training will likely be divided into phases—base, build, and peak—where each phase has specific goals. Base building improves endurance, while build and peak phases add speed and race-specific intensity. Cycling Technique & Power Development: Focus on pacing, power zones, and technique to handle race-day terrain. Race-Specific Conditioning Workouts: Combined bike-to-run sessions to get your body used to transitioning between disciplines, an essential skill for triathletes. Race Simulation Workouts: Longer swim, bike, and run sessions that mimic race-day conditions. Expect a 70.3 program to be comprehensive, balancing training with recovery and designed to bring out your best performance.
