Plan Description

This 70.3 Ironman Gold program offers the highest level training plan for advanced athletes. This program emphasizes speed, efficiency, and high-intensity efforts across each discipline. Here’s what to expect in a high-performance program: 1. Structured Periodization Phased Training Approach: Divides training into phases (base, build, peak, and taper) to progressively develop endurance, power, speed, and race readiness. High-Intensity but still focused on longer-distance training. The training focus is on threshold development work and VO2 max sessions, especially in the peak phase. 2. Advanced Workouts Across All Disciplines Swimming Workouts: Sessions focused on high-intensity intervals. Cycling Workouts: Interval and threshold workouts that enhance power output and speed. Running Workouts: Includes track sessions, threshold runs, and intervals targeting the half marathon.
