Plan Description

Half Distance Triathlon Maine Overview

Swim: Dive into the point-to-point swim in the Kennebec River, renowned for its strong current, helping athletes achieve record-breaking times. With an average water temperature of 69ยฐF (21ยฐC), this fast swim leaves competitors feeling fresh for the rest of the race.

Bike: Enjoy a 56-mile bike ride through the picturesque Kennebec River Valley, complete with thrilling climbs and exhilarating descents. This course is perfect for athletes who love a mix of challenging terrain and breathtaking views of rural Maine.

Run: The single-loop run course is a flat-to-rolling journey along the scenic Kennebec River, providing plenty of shade for athletes. Race day features an average air temperature of 75ยฐF (24ยฐC), making the run comfortable as athletes pass through the charming towns of Hallowell and Augusta with enthusiastic crowd support.
