Half Distance Triathlon Ecuador in the coastal city of Manta, Manabi is a premier endurance event offering athletes a scenic and challenging course. Here's what to expect on race day:
1.9km Swim: Begin with a rolling start in the Pacific Ocean, where the warm water averages 78°F (26°C). The clear, calm conditions provide an excellent start to the race.
90km Bike Course: The next leg features a flat, 3-lap bike ride along Manta’s coastal roads, ideal for maintaining speed and optimizing race strategy. The scenic route and flat terrain allow for a fast-paced ride.
21km Run: The final leg is a 2-loop run through Manta’s streets. With an average air temperature of 77°F (25°C), athletes can enjoy the tropical breeze and cheers from the crowd along the course.
