The Half Distance Triathlon Elsinore offers a legendary course that begins with a 1.9 km (1.2 mile) swim in Elsinore Harbour, right in front of the iconic Kronborg Castle—Shakespeare’s famed setting for Hamlet. Water temperatures average a refreshing 63°F (17°C), perfect for a strong swim start.
From there, you'll tackle a fast 90 km bike ride along Northern Sealand's stunning coastline. With rolling terrain and scenic views of Hornbæk’s countryside and forests, this two-lap course is both exhilarating and efficient. Finally, the 21.1 km (13.1 mile) run takes you through 3.5 vibrant loops around Kronborg Castle and the heart of Elsinore, cheered on by thousands of spectators.
