The Half Distance Triathlon Westfriesland is more than a race—it's a breathtaking journey through one of the Netherlands' most scenic and historic regions. And with the right training, it's yours to conquer.

Designed specifically for beginners targeting this iconic race, our 44-week Half Distance Triathlon Training Plan combines smart periodization, heart rate/RPE guidance, and race-specific preparation.

Lay the foundation with strength, mobility, technique, and endurance work—no prior training required.

✅ Weeks 13–44: Focused Race Preparation
