The Half Distance Triathlon Western Massachusetts offers a rare combination of fast swim times, rolling countryside rides, and a picturesque run course—making it the perfect event to test your endurance and race-day strategy.

To perform at your best, you need more than just motivation—you need a proven plan. Our 44-Week Intermediate Training Plan is designed to help you reach your peak performance on race day.

🌊 Swim Advantage – Fast and Focused
Train specifically for the Connecticut River’s point-to-point 1.2-mile course, known as the 4th fastest half distance triathlon swim in North America. With average temps of 67°F / 19°C, this wetsuit-legal swim is perfect for pacing and confidence.

🚴‍♂️ Master the Bike – Power Through Hills
Our plan preps you for a 56-mile course with rolling climbs, transitioning from urban streets to smooth rural pavement—ideal for steady efforts and negative splits.

🏃‍♂️ Crush the Run – Finish Strong
Build strength for the 13.1-mile rolling course through Forest Park. We train you to pace well and surge in the final mile for a confident, podium-worthy finish.
