Ready to conquer the breathtaking challenge of the Half Distance Triathlon Switzerland? This six-month Advanced Training Plan is built for athletes who are already conditioned and eager to elevate their endurance, speed, and strength to dominate one of Europe’s most scenic and demanding races.

🏊‍♂️ Swim the Obersee with Confidence
With a 1.9 km swim in the pristine waters of the Obersee, you'll need open-water skill, sighting precision, and stamina. Our plan includes structured swim workouts designed to boost your aerobic capacity, simulate open-water conditions, and prepare you for a strong, steady performance.

🚴 Climb with Strength Through Swiss Hills

The two-loop, 90 km bike course features over 1000 meters of climbing. We target this with:

✅ Power-based interval rides

✅ VO2 max hill sessions

✅ Long aerobic builds

✅ Brick workouts to simulate race fatigue

🏃 Run Strong to the Medieval Finish
After conquering 112 steps on the iconic “Stairway to Heaven,” the final 21.1 km run along the lake and through the medieval city demands strength and mental resilience. You'll train for this with:

✅ Run-specific strength work

✅ Long runs for endurance
