Plan Description

Half Distance Triathlon Victoria Canada -

The 1.9km swim course takes place in Elk Lake, a warm freshwater lake, featuring a single-loop swim with a rolling start from Hamsterly Beach Park. Swimmers head south, keeping buoys to their right, then turn north back to shore.

Bike - Starting at Hamsterly Beach, the 90km single-loop bike course goes through four municipalities, offering stunning views of Haro Strait, the Coastal Mountains, and Saanich Inlet. The course includes three aid stations, with safety ensured by local police, professional traffic control personnel, and volunteers.

Run - The 21.1km run course is a two-loop trail around Elk and Beaver Lake, finishing at Hamsterly Beach. The average air temperature on race day is 62ยฐF (17ยฐC).
