Plan Description

HALF-DISTANCE TRIATHLON DESARU COAST MALAYSIA

Swim: A 1.9km swim at The Westin Desaru Coast Resort beachfront. The swim course involves a single lap in a clockwise direction under a rolling start process. Enjoy the non-wetsuit swim in warm waters with temperatures ranging between 28-29ยฐC (82ยฐF).

Bike Course:
Transition to the 90km bike course, which features two loops on an undulating terrain. Cyclists will start at Desaru Coast Riverside, turn right at Jalan Kampung Punggol, and ride straight through the Penawar Roundabout towards Sedili Kecil. The Tanjung Balau roundabout serves as the turnaround point. After completing the second lap, head straight through the Penawar Roundabout and turn left into Jalan Desaru to return to transition.

Run: A 21.1km run on a two-loop course around The Ferry Terminal, The Els Club Desaru Coast, and the Ocean Course. The route offers some shaded areas for relief. The lap turnaround point is in front of the Anantara Main Entrance, where participants will finish their race. Expect an average air temperature of around 28ยฐC (82ยฐF).

Our meticulously crafted plan introduces progressive brick workouts, seamlessly blending disciplines for optimal performance.
