The Half Distance Triathlon Da Nang is a thrilling test of grit and endurance—with a warm 1.9km ocean swim, a stunning 90km coastal bike ride crossing iconic bridges, and a 21.1km beachfront run that demands your all. But showing up isn't enough. To perform your best in Vietnam’s heat, terrain, and technical course, you need more than just motivation—you need a smart, progressive training plan designed for success.

🔥 Introducing the 36-Week Half Distance Triathlon Intermediate Plan

This comprehensive training journey is crafted specifically for triathletes like you—athletes who are ready to take their performance to the next level. Whether Da Nang is your first big race or your next major challenge, this plan sets you up for your strongest finish yet.

✅ Weeks 1–12: Build the Foundation
We start by developing your aerobic engine and strength—critical for peak performance and injury prevention. From the beginning, you'll work on swim technique, core stability, and structured strength training. By week 7, you’ll begin introducing VO2 max intervals to build your top-end power.

✅ Weeks 13–36: Race-Specific Preparation
As you enter the race prep phase, your training steadily ramps from 7 to 12.5 hours per week. We focus on long endurance rides, tempo-paced runs, open water swim skills, and tri-specific brick sessions. Every week is carefully designed to simulate race-day conditions and build race-day confidence.
