With a calm swim in Marina de Valencia, a stunning bike ride through Sierra Calderona, and a vibrant run along the Túria River, the Half Distance Valencia Triathlon delivers an unforgettable experience.

To help you meet this challenge head-on, our Six-Month Beginner’s Half Distance Triathlon Training Plan is specifically designed to prepare you for Valencia’s unique course.

🏊 Swim Ready for Marina Waters
Train for the sheltered 1.9 km swim with technique-focused sessions, tempo work, and open-water preparation. Our plan mirrors the race’s calm conditions (16°C–18°C) to build your confidence and efficiency.

🚴 Conquer Valencia’s Scenic Elevation
The 90 km bike route features fast flats and 800 meters of climbing. Our progressive workouts incorporate strength intervals and threshold efforts to build climbing power and endurance for the varied terrain.

🏃 Master the Túria River Path
The two-lap, 21.1 km run showcases Valencia’s urban beauty. Tempo intervals and brick workouts in the plan simulate race-day fatigue, so you arrive at the red carpet finish strong and smiling.
