HALF DIST NELSON MANDELA BAY where athletes test their mettle in a fusion of swim, bike, and run.

The adventure kicks off with a thrilling 1.9 km (1.2 mile) swim at the iconic Hobie Beach. Picture yourself surrounded by the crisp sea breeze as you embark on a one-loop swim, setting the tone for the challenges that lie ahead.

As you transition from the refreshing waves, the bike course unfolds with a one-loop 90.1 km (56 mile) route. Feel the wind in your hair as you pedal along Marine Drive towards Settlers Highway, soaking in the scenic beauty of Port Elizabeth. The course promises a dynamic blend of urban landscapes and coastal vistas, making every turn a moment to savor.

But the real test of endurance comes with the 21.1 km (13.1 mile) run course. Exiting Hobie Beach, athletes embark on a journey that weaves through Perrot Avenue, Summerstrand, and Humewood beach fronts along Marine Drive. The course offers a unique blend of urban charm and natural beauty, pushing athletes to dig deep and find their stride.
