Plan Description
HALF DIST Bangsaen, Thailand— Swim (1.9km): Embark on your journey with a rolling start from the sandy shores, a unique departure that adds an extra layer of excitement. The 1.9km swim unfolds in a clockwise, triangular course, guiding athletes through the warm, azure waters of Bangsaen. With an average water temperature of 82°F (28°C), the swim promises a refreshing and comfortable experience.
Bike (90km): Gear up for a cycling adventure on a 90km flat and fast route designed to help you achieve that coveted personal best. As you pedal north along the beach promenade, take in the scenic beauty that surrounds you. The course offers an out-and-back section, leading you to the breathtaking Khao Lam Road.
Run (21.1km): The 21.1km run course is a dynamic blend of rolling slopes, flats, and a scenic tour through beaches and gardens. Starting on the beach promenade, the route unfolds towards Lam Tan before taking on the ascent of Khao Sam Muk Hill. Brace yourself for the unique "Monkey Zone," a famous tourist spot inhabited by playful monkeys and adorned with beautiful cactus gardens.
Weather: On race day, the weather plays its part perfectly, with an average air temperature of 85°F (29°C).
