Plan Description
This 24-week plan is designed to help you build your fitness to peak for a half distance triathlon (70.3 Miles) in 24 weeks. This plan includes all the workouts you will need to race a strong, smart race. Pace your workouts so that they start out easy and finish stronger when directed to do so. The plan is designed for beginners, intermediate, and advanced athletes using heart rate, power, or perceived exertion as metrics for the workouts. Workouts are designed to progress throughout the plan and have you at your peak fitness for a half Iron distance race. The bike workouts can be performed on your bike outdoors or indoors on a stationary trainer. You will need some tools for the swim; kick board, fins, and a pull buoy.
