Half distance triathlon
For beginners triathletes that want to do their first HALF distance triathlon
👉 Method: polarized
👉 Duration: 19 weeks (1 testing week + 9 weeks build, 7 race specific, taper week, race week)
👉 Hours: Between 5 and 10 hours in peak week.
🤓 The first week will be used to test your thresholds. This way, we'll determine your training zones, and you'll always train at the correct intensity.
♻️ Reusable Plan. You can do the plan again as many times as you want, completely free.
🏊♂️ Swimming (pace - syncs with Garmin): 2 times a week including aerobic, speed and threshold workouts.
🚴🏻♂️ Cycling (power): 2 times a week including 2 intensity workouts at threshold or VO2Max + a long aerobic ride with a T2 (Transition / Run off bike to a tempo / fast effort, like race day).
🏃🏻♂️ Running (pace): 2 times a week including 2 intensity workouts, one T2 and one long run.
