Plan Description

Designed for intermediate and advanced level athletes looking to excel in a 50k trail race. This plan will benefit athletes looking to complete their first ultra as well as those looking to PR their 50k. As always, athletes should listen to their body and rest and/or reduce volume as needed. The long trail runs should be done on trails that mimic the elevation profile of the target race. Athletes will develop their speed, running economy, and muscular endurance over the course of the training block.
