Plan Description
This 16 week plan is for first time 100k runners, or runners who typically run less than 70k per week in their regular training. This plan peaks at 15 hours of training per week, with a 7 hour long run. Training will start with running 5 days a week and builds to 6 days a week part way through.
Yes, you will train by time, not distance!
Workouts are prescribed by RPE.
Before starting this plan we recommend you regularly be running approximately 5 hours training per week (or more) for the month leading up to beginning training.
Included with this training plan is the 'Training For The Trail Guide' with advice on vertical gain, terrain, and how to train for your specific race. As well as the Running Foundations E-book, which will show you how to train by RPE. All the attachments can be found in the workout notes on Day 1 of the training plan.
