This is an ultra-marathon (100km) specific training schedule that is based on a standard amount of volume for an experienced runner looking to race the ultra-distance (100km). This schedule is for beginner to intermediate ultra-runners who are coming into the plan with consistent running already, and may have completed an ultra-marathon (100km) previously, or are looking to debut at the distance. This schedule starts at 48 miles per week and peaks at 82 miles, by running up to six days a week. Written by ultra-marathon champion and experienced coach Duncan Callahan (2 x winner of the Leadville 100), this plan is sure to get you to the start line ready to reach your goal.
