Welcome to my 20 week 100km Race plan!!
I am really happy with the set up of this plan. I know it will help you reach optimal fitness, strength and speed for tackling your goal 100km race.
Please make sure you already run up t0 40km per week, before starting this plan.
make sure that you start with some new running shoes. shoes that you love, shoes that fit you will and shoes that are appropriate for the course you will be racing on.
I have added notes along the way, regarding proper run form technique. This is so very important as the right technique will allow you to run faster, with less effort. Also, it will keep you healthy and injury-free!
We have a full day off every single week. this is imperative. Your body needs to recover. Give it what it needs to rejuvenate and recover, so that it is ready to step up for you each and every week.
Eat healthy and hydrate often. Again, give your body what it needs to continue performing at the optimal level, and to keep you healthy.
