Plan Description
Take on your first ultra with confidence. This 16-week plan is designed for runners stepping up from marathons into the world of ultras. With **4 runs per week** and strength work built in, you’ll gradually build endurance, resilience, and confidence for race day.
**Best for:** First-time ultra runners who can run 75-90 minutes comfortably.
**What to expect:**
* A proven mix of endurance runs, intervals, tempo work, and recovery days
* Gradual mileage progression to build confidence and reduce injury risk
* Two optional strength sessions per week for added resilience
This plan provides all the structure you need to successfully complete your ultra-marathon.
