Plan Description
You are used to run 2 times á week? Your longest distance is actually about 10k? You want "test" how it feels to run on trails? Here is the plan for you: you start with a test- week to get your zones right. Afterwards you will hop into the plan with 3 session a week running between 40min up to 90min. The gain is to get you used to the trailrunning specific setting of running on trails, hiking & running uphill & downhill and being out there for a few hours. The plans includes also the right vertical gain/distance ratio. Therefore the plan has a weekly strength- session, long run sessions and power build sessions included to get you in shape.
Tip: The Wörthersee Trail is a very pumpy track, including many fast sections. So think of your shoe choice!
