Der Weissee Gletschwelt Trail stellt die Einstiegsdistanz im Rahmen des GGUT dar. Mit knapp 35 Kilometern und 1500 positiven Höhenmetern wartet eine nicht zu unterschätzende Herausforderung auf dich. Doch einen Moment! Schau dir bitte genau das Höhenprofil dieses Laufes an. Es gilt 2200 negative Höhenmeter zu bewältigen, die die eigentliche Schwierigkeit ausmachen. Mit dieser, grob genommen, abfallenden Strecke warten gänzlich neue Voraussetzungen auf dich. So werden wir uns in dieser Folge gezielt um die spezifische, mechanische Belastung des Downhills kümmern, gepaart mit Kraftausdauer und Bergtempotrainings für die verhältnismäßig kurzen doch giftigen Anstiege. Sei dir versichert, dass du die bestmögliche Vorbereitung auf dieses Rennen erworben hast und unterschätze diesen Bewerb nicht!
