Plan Description
This 12-week HYROX running program includes 5 running workouts per week. It is understood that this program will be completed in conjunction with a strength program, which should include general strength and conditioning, HYROX-specific exercises, and multi-modal workouts (combining cardio [running and ergs] with HYROX movements).
The running workouts include specific pace targets (based on your threshold pace values), specific heart rate targets (based on your threshold heart rate values), and specific rating of perceived exertion (RPE) targets. Please make sure to keep your threshold values updated by either allowing automatic updates on threshold values or manually updating them as you are notified by the system.
You may opt to perform the running workouts on different days of the week.
If you feel that the program is too much for you, reach out for guidance. It is also recommended that you consider switching some of the easy runs to cycling or rowing if you need time off of your feet.
